Gardaí stop driver with fake licence on Fathers Day
Gardaí stopped a van yesterday on Father’s Day only to discover the tax has been out of date since 2015 and no CRW (Certificate of Roadworthiness).
To top it off, the driver produced a fake driving licence. The biggest give away, among many notable mistakes, was the fadas facing the wrong way. (this is similar to the French accent over words and is known as a síneadh fada, usually abbreviated to fada.)
The car and licence were seized, and the driver is set to appear in court.
