The 2015 Petrol Volkswagen Golf was the best-selling car in the Republic of Ireland during the month of October at Independent dealerships.
The 2015 Petrol Audi A3 came in second place with the 2014 Volkswagen Golf coming in third place at Independent dealerships.
We see hybrid vehicles coming into the top-ten list for Independent dealers. In tenth place is the 2020 Hybrid Bmw 3 series, Petrol continues to be the most popular engine type in Ireland.
The 2022 Hybrid Toyota Corolla was by far the best-selling car at Franchise dealerships coming in both first and second place. The C-HR, Yaris and Rav4 were all very popular cars at franchise dealerships.
The quickest-selling car at Independent dealerships in October was the 2021 Electric Volkswagen ID.4 with the 2014 Petrol Nissan Qashqai coming in second. The quickest-selling car from the franchise dealers 2022 Diesel Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the 2022 Hybrid Mercedes-Benz E-Class coming in second place and also the Petrol version of the 2020 Petrol Peugeot 5008 in third place.
The October report reveals that of the top ten cars sold privately, 2011 Diesel Volkswagen Golf was by far the most popular car in Ireland sold privately. The VW Golf came in third, fourth, fifth and ninth places.
Of the top-ten cars valued during the month of October was the 2016 Diesel Ford Focus with the 2022 Hybrid Toyota Corolla and 2023 Hybrid Toyota Rav4 coming in second and third place respectively.
