Man tries to steal bike from back of moving car.
A cyclist is captured trying to steal a racing bike in central London.
Dashcam footage has captured the shocking moment a would-be thief tries to steal a bicycle from the back of a car - while it briefly stops at a red light.
In the one-minute clip, dated 3:24pm on Sunday, a man wearing a hoodie is seen cycling behind the car as it is travels down Tower Bridge Road in central London.
When the car stops at a crossing, the cyclist seizes his opportunity, and starts to remove a racing bike from the rack at the back of the vehicle.
In his desperation and greed, the man even leaves his own bike scattered in the road and runs with the car trying to unlock the bike from the back of the car.
The driver of the car obviously didn't know what was going but as for the driver of the car following behind looking at the attempted daylight robbery; well some people should really question their notion or understanding of civic duty?
