Most popular cars in November 2020
The MyVehicle.ie Nationwide Market Overview report for November 2020
The Hyundai Tucson is without a doubt is one of the most popular cars in Ireland asn once again it has reached the top spot as the best selling car sold by Independent dealers in Ireland, with the Nissan Qashqai coming in second place.
The diesel Hyundai Tucson was also the number one selling car by Franchise dealers for the month of November.
There was only one petrol car in the top ten, the Renault Clio showing that diesel vehicles are still dominant in Ireland despite the global turn away from this fuel type for cars. Last month in October, nine out of ten cars sold were petrol so there seems to be some flip-flopping.
Diesel cars were heavily pushed by the Irish Government in the past decade and now they have reversed this recommendation in line with the global trend away from diesel fuel but the statistics would indicate a change here away from diesel.
The number one quickest selling car from Independent dealers in November was Petrol Kia Rio and the quickest selling vehicle during November from franchise dealers was the 2012 Volkswagen Golf.
The November report reveals that of the top ten cars sold privately, the top three went once again to the petrol Ford Focus coming in first, second and third place.
Of the top-ten cars valued during the month, the Nissan Qashqai came out on top with the diesel Volkswagen Passat taking the second place position and again the diesel Qashqai coming in 3rd place.
